4 Essential Steps for Harnessing the Power of Visualization

Visualization And The Law Of Attraction

When it comes to visualization, seeing is believing. Many of us think of the future ahead of us and how it will look. Furthermore, many of us fear the unknown which can result in us never taking action on our dreams.

The good news is that visual imagery—otherwise known as visualization—is essential to manifestation as well as the law of attraction. We can use it to alter our subconscious mind, allowing us to believe that positive actions have already taken place in our lives. This visual imagery enables us to manifest our dreams, turning them into actionable goals and celebrating our life’s greatest achievements.

How to Use Visual Imagery Meditation

Similar to daydreaming, visualization is the process of creating a picture in your head of a desired scenario or outcome.

However, it’s important to understand that all senses must be engaged during the act of visualization. It’s not enough to simply envision something in your mind and expect it to manifest.

During your visual imagery meditation, you must go into great detail. You want to think of all the things that you can see, touch, hear, see, smell, and taste. This makes the image much more powerful and easier to manifest.

When you are ready to incorporate visual imagery meditation into your daily routine, these are the steps to follow.

Step 1: Visualize What You Want

The first step to visual imagery is knowing what you want and being able to picture the outcome.

The great part about visual imagery meditation is that you can use it for almost anything. Keeping in mind that you need to picture every detail during your manifestation, this is an example of how to get started.

Let’s say that you want to take a once in a lifetime trip to Italy. This is a dream for you and one of your life goals. Think about what you will see during your trip to Italy, as well as all of the smells and sounds.

Step 2: Prepare for Meditation

Once you have a good image of your mind for your trip to Italy, it’s time to start the meditation process for manifestation. You know in your heart and mind exactly what you want to experience from this trip.

You can prepare for your visual imagery meditation in a number of ways, such as having a comfortable and quiet place to sit. You may even want to light some candles. Consider meditating before breakfast on an empty stomach.

Step 3: Your Visual Imagery Journey

Now you’re ready to take your trip to Italy with the power of visualization.

First, sit down or lie somewhere comfortable. This might be on a soft rug or a meditation pillow.

Next, close your eyes and take a deep breath. You’ll feel your chest expand and your shoulders rise. Exhale and allow your stomach to sink.

Repeat this process until you feel restful and calm.

Now, imagine yourself in Italy. You’re in a market and you can hear people chattering in Italian all around you. You see a lot of fresh foods, flowers, handmade jewelry, and clothing. You touch one of the shirts and feel that its made from the finest silks. Making your way through the market, you discover a stand that is selling fresh Italian bread. You buy a loaf, taking in its smell and warmth. Later that evening, you enjoy your bread with homemade pasta in rich marinara spaghetti sauce.

This visualization can feel very real to you, and it’s encouraged to enjoy the process. Let your mind wander for 10 minutes or so as you meditate.

Step 4: Ending Your Meditation

Make sure you are prepared to end your meditation and don’t force yourself out of it. You should gradually awaken yourself by moving your upper body. Perhaps take a few deep breaths before you open your eyes.

You can repeat this process in your daily life, maintaining this ritual until you receive your desired outcome.

Don’t Give up Too Soon

Visual imagery meditation is a wonderful tool, but know it can take time to work. It’s always wise to take efforts into your own hands to make your visualizations come true. This might mean saving money to take that trip to Italy. If it’s a career goal, you might need to take steps to further your education.

Stick to your practice each day and watch your world transform over time.

Like many others, stumbling upon the law of attraction was the start of a life long pursuit and passion for me. With over 2 decades of research and trial and error under my belt, I love to share my knowledge and experience so that I might help others successfully create their ideal experience.
