Four Reasons You’re Not Getting What You Want In Life

Are you living a life that doesn’t align with your goals and dreams? Do you admire those who live on the beach in Tahiti as you feel stuck with your basement apartment in Timbuktu? While you might feel as if you are doomed to live an unfulfilling life, there are reasons why you aren’t achieving your dreams.
The truth is that the law of attraction is always at work, whether you are thinking about it or simply going with the flow of life.
The good news is that getting what you want in life is right at your fingertips. By trusting the universe and the law of attraction, your new reality is only steps away. This is how you can fulfill your vision of a life that you want.
1. Your Inner State Reflects Reality
If you aren’t living the life you want, you must look inside yourself first. Harmony inside your mind results in harmony in your outside world as well as the universe. Establishing harmony inside yourself should be your goal moving forward.
On the other hand, disharmony inside yourself will also result in a chaotic reality. You’ll likely feel a range of negative emotions ranging from self-doubt to anger and hatred. Not only are these feelings harmful to your psyche, but they also attract negative energy from the universe.
While it might be nearly impossible to change the outside world, you can always change your behavior and thinking patterns while creating internal harmony. This is a critical step to getting what you want in life.
2. You’re Living a Vicious Cycle of Failure
While failure is part of life, choosing how to react from that failure is part of how you will get the life you want. You can choose to allow failure to disrupt your life or you can learn from it.
Unfortunately, some of us get stuck in a vicious cycle of failure. You view the world from a negative mindset and believe you are destined to fail no matter what you do. This thought process only sends negative energy to the universe. From here, the law of attraction brings back negative experiences to your life.
Negative thoughts have immense power in our day-to-day lives. Studies show that we have 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day with 80% of those thoughts being negative. According to Cleveland Clinic, negative thinking is also linked to depression, anxiety, and OCD—making it even more difficult to get out of the failure cycle.
Changing the way we think through mindfulness and meditation can break us out of the cycle and get the life that we want, but we also need to put in a little work.
3. You Don’t Want to do What it Takes
While the universe can present powerful opportunities and changes in our life, not all of the power lies in outside forces.
When you decide to overhaul your thinking to get the life you want, there is another piece of the puzzle to consider: your actions. Thinking and believing something to be true is not enough to yield results, although it can provide positive momentum to reach your goal.
It’s no secret that it can take a tremendous amount of time and effort to reach new goals in our life. This brings us to point number four: being patient.
4. You’re Not Being Patient
The truth is that the law of attraction isn’t a quick fix for getting what you want. There is a process that goes along with the law of attraction, including:
● Set your intention
● Become clear on your goals
● Practice manifestation techniques
● Continuously work toward your goal
When you follow this process, the law of attraction will ultimately help you get what you want in life—even if it turns out to be different than what you initially believed.
Let the Universe Work Its Magic
Along with your hard work, sit back and let the universe work its magic. Keep your vision in mind, practice positive thinking, and relentlessly word on your goals until your vision becomes reality.
