Positive Affirmations And The Law Of Attraction

Positive Affirmations and The Law of Attraction

What if a simple statement was able to transform your entire mindset? Positive affirmations can serve as a powerful tool to change the way you think about many areas in your life. It retrains your mind to focus on the positive things, which ultimately helps harness the power of the universe and law of attraction when you need it the most.

According to Psychology Today, one of the reasons why affirmations work is because the mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and fantasy. For example, if you’re watching a movie and feel an emotional connection to the characters, your mind empathizes because it believes the people and their situations are real.

Telling yourself reinforcing statements—otherwise known as affirmations—is a technique to help alter the thoughts of both your conscious and subconscious mind. It also helps you to make long-lasting changes in the way that you think and feel. It may also establish your self-identity.

How do Affirmations Work?

First, don’t think of affirmations as wishful thinking or false hope. Think of an affirmation as an exercise of your mind, just as you do repetitive exercises for your physical body. Studies show that affirmations can help reduce stress and even improve the ability to problem solve under high-pressure situations.

By repeating affirmations to yourself, you can possibly help treat low self-esteem and other mental health conditions.

Best of all, you can use affirmations to reframe your mindset on many levels such as:

● Career affirmations
Money affirmations
Relationship affirmations
● Self-esteem affirmations
● Spiritual affirmation, and more

With so many available affirmations at your fingertips, let’s discuss how we can use them in our day-to-day lives.

Manifestation Techniques: The Power of Using Affirmations

When you’re ready to use affirmations and discover how they can improve your life, there are several methods to get started.

You can begin using affirmations by writing them down, saying them aloud or inside your head. Some people take the approach of saying them into a voice recorder and playing them back. You can also ask someone to repeat the affirmation, and there are many affirmation podcasts available as well.

How to Write Affirmations

Do you want to write your affirmations on paper? Great! Grab a pen and a journal.

You’ll want to start your affirmations with I or My so you are always addressing yourself. The affirmation should also be in the present tense as if you are already experiencing your desire now and not in the future. Example: say “I am successful” rather than “I will be successful one day.”

You can also add emotions to your affirmations, such as I feel positive today.

How to Say Affirmations

The way you say affirmations is essentially the same as the way you will write them. You can say them aloud to yourself or inside your head.

There is also no right or wrong time of the day to say affirmations to yourself. You can do it first thing in the morning to give yourself a positive outlook for the day. You may also use them in the evening or at night. Try using the affirmations at different times of day to see what works for you.

If you prefer, you can try using some guided meditations. There are plenty of podcasts available as well as YouTube videos. We are including an affirmation YouTube video below for example, “I AM” affirmations for success.
